Terms of Service

You must be at least 18 years old to use Find Me After. By using the service you confirm that you are an adult. We may suspend or remove any account we reasonably believe belongs to a minor.

Find Me After lets you create a private profile and order physical cards, each carrying a unique QR code. When you hand a card to someone you meet, they can scan it to view your profile and start a private chat with you in their browser — no app or account required on their side.

You are responsible for the accuracy of your profile and for keeping your login credentials secure. You must not impersonate anyone, upload content you have no right to use, or post photos of other people without their consent.

Each card is designed to connect you with one person. Once a card has been scanned and a connection is established, that card is consumed and cannot be reused to start a new connection with someone else. Keep unused cards private and hand them out one at a time — anyone holding a card can scan it.

Conversations must be respectful and lawful. The following are not allowed:

• harassment, hate speech, threats, or abusive behaviour;
• sexual content involving minors, or any content that sexualises a minor;
• sharing another person's private information without consent;
• spam, scams, solicitation, or commercial advertising;
• unlawful content or anything that infringes others' rights.

You can block or report any conversation at any time — one tap ends the chat and alerts our team. We may review reported content, remove it, and suspend or ban accounts that break these rules. Do not share contact details you are not comfortable sharing; contact exchange always happens on your terms, inside the chat.

Physical cards are sold as a paid product. Prices and shipping are shown before you pay; payment is processed securely by Stripe and printing/fulfilment is handled by our print partner. An order becomes binding once payment is confirmed.

Because cards are custom-made to your order, your statutory right of withdrawal may be limited once production has begun, to the extent permitted by law. If your cards arrive damaged, defective, or materially different from what you ordered, contact us at hello@hudsonly.com and we will arrange a replacement or refund. You agree not to misuse the service — including attempting to access it in unauthorised ways, disrupting it, scraping data, or using it for any unlawful purpose. We may suspend or terminate access for conduct that breaks these terms or harms other users or the service.

You keep ownership of the content you upload, and you grant us the limited licence needed to host it and operate the service (for example, to display your profile to a card recipient and to print your card). The Find Me After name, brand, and software remain our property.

Find Me After helps people connect, but we do not conduct background checks on users and we are not responsible for the conduct of anyone you meet or chat with. Please use good judgement and prioritise your safety. The service is provided "as is"; we do not guarantee it will always be available or error-free.

To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to damages caused intentionally or through gross negligence, and to the breach of essential contractual obligations. Mandatory liability (for example under product liability law or for injury to life, body, or health) remains unaffected. [TODO: confirm the limitation-of-liability wording with legal review.]

We may update these terms as the service evolves; we will post the updated version here. You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms.
